Kokeshi -Jack Skellington - needle felted pumpkin head doll

Wellcome the Jack, pumpkin king
Kokeshi Dolls were originally hand carved by farmers in northern Japan from Cherry, Dogwood or Mizuki trees, as tokens of love and friendship for their family and friends. They have developed from a simple toy into a modern craft and are now recognised as one of the traditional folk arts in Japan. These beautiful, brightly coloured wooden dolls are irresistibly cute and combine a typically simple yet stylish Japanese design with a distinctive, contemporary feel. Every doll is given its own name by the craftsman who lovingly created it ensuring that every Kokeshi Doll radiates its own individual spirit.

New to BenMcfuzzylugs are Needle felted Kokeshi inspired dolls
******************************************Horror Kokeshi *******************************************

Jack is a total one off! He is tiny, under 2 inches tall but his detail is amazing!! With tiny magnets in his heads he can be skellingtone jack or the pumpkin king - one doll two heads

Needle felting is the process of taking raw unspun fleece and stabbing it THOUSANDS of times with a special barbed needle until the fibers matt together to form a 3d sculpture
Each peice is a total one off, no two can ever be the same, no patterns are used and every item takes many many hours to create
They are not childrens toys - especially this little guy with his detachable heads

Please keep an eye out for more horror dolls comming soon. Or feel free to convo me - I love custom work

Thankyou for looking
